Who's interested in Calligraphy?

Recently Ive been falling in love with Arabic calligraphy. I wish i could have enough knowledge of Arabic and Islam to enjoy the beauty of it to the fullest though. I ve been reading a little bit about Arabic calligraphy and my friend sent me some calligraphy with words taken from the Koran which i am trying to understand the beauty of the meaning apart from the beauty of the looking itself. Would be happy if anyone with good knowledge of Arabic Calligraphy and Islam could help me discovering these cool arts.

Also i have a question for you guys : apart from Arabic and Chinese calligraphy, is there any other kind of calligraphy in the world, in your country and community?
